Just a quick update...

Not too much going on in the work end of things, but fostering is going great! Holly, one of the pups got adopted by my neighbor so now I still get to see her (and how spoiled she is)!! Then you can see Molly, playing with a guinea pig that was left in the stray pen. It's kinda the season for random animals, we have an iguana too. Jake, the kitty, also got to play with the guinea pig, but that didn't last as long as apparently the guinea pig is a boy and took quite a liking to my little guy. Speaking of Jake, he is doing well, he is eating on his own now and as soon as he is done with his medication he should be ready for adoption! Then there is Penny, one of my old foster kitties, and she just got over a bout with ringworm and got adopted the first weekend she was available!

And last but not least...my kitty, OSCAR! Yes, that was the winning name and he got his id tag this past weekend. He's an official member of the family now. Well that among spending money on his shots and neuter (which he got today). He seems to be doing well, definitely had his appetite back. He wasn't too happy he didn't get to eat breakfast this morning with the others.

Also, here is a video that has a little blurb about Pinal County in it that was on the local news. A gentleman was complaining that we had taken his dog, but the story pretty much backs us up.
And just for clarification, I was not the officer that went out on this call :)
Maybe someone saw it and will get their dog vaccinated and be sure they know where the records are! I certainly don't like telling people that I have to quarantine their dog at the shelter. It's no place for a dog and the fees are no fun either.
